Hello Vintage Ibanez Fans,

Check out the following links:

Gibson (Less) Paul

Gibson (Less) Paul2

Both guitars are Gibson Custom Shop creations, but they bear a striking resemblance to the Ibanez Performer.

Here's another:

Prototype

It's basically an Explorer with modified lines, but notice the headstock. Very interesting.

Seth,

You're spot on. The black one looks just like a Performer and The BS one looks alot like a cheap Samick.

The prototype looks like it was made for Rick Neilsen perhaps. It's a cross between an Iceman and a Hamer.

Hi Mark,

I was wondering about the nameless. That prototype could definitely be a Rick Nielsen special. Something to entice him into the Gibson stable possibly?

Here's some more food for thought:

headstock

It's from an Ibanez-made Starfield.
