I hope y'all like. I'm a professional repairman by trade and part time luthier. I gather there's a few of you guys the same. I love 70's Ibanez guitars, and when I buy them, I like to restore them as much as possible. This one only needed the two tone pots and one capacitor, as well as the two associated knobs. He included the reciept from the store he bought it from. I called the number on the reciept. The store was still in business, and had sales records from the sixties! There's only one thing wrong with it: that line "Built by the proud craftsmen of Ibanez" is still there. I'll probly never play it. I've got a beater Ibanez 2617 that I play the heck out of, and a nicer 2617, in nearly the same shape as this Bob Weir that I'll probly never play. The only thing I had to do to that one was restore the pickup covers. I also have a (gasp!) Gibson les paul, "68 flametop custom, tri-burst finish from the custom shop that I'll probly never play, and a buncha guitars that I built that I play the heck out off then dump them at a music store or loan out to local musicians to play and record with and stuff. To me that's part of the fun of building them.
