My first Ibanez

Author Message   Roland_g303 Username: Roland_g303 Registered: 5-2007 Posted on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 - 10:29 pm:    Hi Everyone, I'm somewhat new to this board, but I've been reading the messages and checking out the auctions you guys have posted over the last few months. I love the old Japanese guitars and got interested in Ibanez through my collection of old Roland GR guitars. I know that the Roland G series guitars were built by Ibanez for Roland and became very interested in the old Ibanez's of the same era. I have 3 GR guitars as of now, a G-303 (Pat Metheny uses one still), a G-505, and a G-707. I also have the synth units for them...the GR-100,300, & 700. They're great guitars and it really got me interested in the old Ibanez guitars. Anyways, I just purchased a 2622 off of ebay for what I considered a fair price. My only question is...does anyone know where I can get an knob and replacement cream ring to restore this guitar back to orignial? I don't know if they can be purchased from an authorized dealer or would anyone be willing to sell them? I've enclosed a couple of pics below to show what I mean. You guys have a great site and I look forward to posting more in the future.
