Check the thread "OK, I bought the 2710". It chronicles the progress. i am thinking about buying it, and stealing the pickups and truss rod cover. I wonder if they are microphonic???? It figures these come around right after I spend 2 weeks carefully digging the others out of their shells. I might have to go for it. Although I am suspect since they have been removed, that they are microphonic already... unless the ohm readings can tell you whether they are OK??? Does anyone know?
