I recently bought a 1978 MC400. The guitar is in excellent condition, except for the frets. Just confirmed with the original owner that he did a refret pretty early in the guitar's life (79-80), so it already lacks original frets. The frets are now reaching the end of their useful life, so I'm considering a refret. Any advice on replacement fretwire that's close to the original? Thanks.
