Heres something interesting. I know of someone who re-wired their 78 mc 350 to short out the tone control in h-bucking mode (this makes isolates the inside coils and the now inactive pot to control tone is used to turn up the outside coils when needed. The sound is INCREDIBLE!! I am presently duplicating this mod. on my 78 musician. what do you think??? -Patrick.
ps- I would post pics of my mc series if I could figure out how to attach-any tips?
