Hi Michael

I think the pickups are original Super 70´s. I saw more Custom Agents with "plain" pickups (no "Ibanez" logo stamped in) in the past years. Maybe they ran out of stamped pickups and just switched to the ordinairy standard pickups.
I believe this CA is in overall good and original condition.
Value: hard to say....value fluctuates from time to time. But I guess a fair price would be around 1000 to 1200 dollar. Maybe the price is higher sometimes but CA´s are not really that rare: we see them pop up on Fleabay and other auction sites pretty often.

Kind greetz,
Harry

Are two-hole pickup rings correct in '78?

Yes, they are, at least on the "older models".

Well, it went for EUR 1266.- within the Euro zone (from Sweden to Greece [Zorba?]).
I have the impression that this Ibanez fan from Greece tries to finance this purchase for 100% with the sale of an AR100 (also offered for $1800+ in Greece). It could be a coincidence of course, but Greece popping up as an Ibanez collectors country is quite new for me...
Anyway EUR 1266.- for a 2405CA is only EUR 116.- more than the EUR 1150.- estimate of 2006.
Seems still reasonable, and EUR 39.- shipping cost seems reasonable too, but I'd rather have it insured.
