They didn't reissue the 2680 "dot" model in the 90s.

I've asked the seller to confirm serial number and wine red finish color (rather than brown).

My guess is replate & refinish.

btw... it has the Super 80's label on the back of the headstock.

I nearly chose to finish my black one in this colour but couldn't get an exact match at the time. I'm pleased in a way but this does look rather tasty.

The seller replied to my inquiries about the color and serial number:

"I786314...it is more of a wine red, I would say the pics are accurate."

So it's not a '90s reissue and it looks like an original CW finish, to me.
