I consider myself the Musician afficionado, but this and the bass I posted in the bass section have amazing grain patterns. I imagine that the story included in this auction could have some credence as I have never seen a musician, let alone an MC200 with that pretty of a top on it.
Simply Beautiful!

No, not mine, it certainly would not be on ebay if it was mine.

I hear that. Perhaps this is not the thread for this, but have you heard of this alleged late 1990's reissue of the MC300 mentioned elsewhere on the ICW?

This MC400NT ended up selling for $1,388.16, which is up from the last one to sell, I believe, by a hundred dollars or two. Nice to see the gits appreciating:

That was a real pretty guitar. Another's on the block now. Seems to be raining blondies. Have you guys ever noticed a slight difference in the shape of MC's?

I wonder how rare the blonde headstock MC400NT's are compared to the dark headstock ones? I know Grateful and I have a blondie (and they are only 4 numbers apart in their serial numbers, no less) but are there other blondie MC400NT's in the hands of ICW members? I'm lobbying that the blondies should be worth twice as much as these "dirty hairs". Here's a link to a thread with pics of my and Grateful's blondies:
