By the time I called, it was already sold. Timing is everything!

Are those Super 80's? How easy is it to remove Super 80 pickup covers, assuming they're wax-potted or epoxy-potted?

Super hard to remove without ruinning the pickup!

The waxy ones are EASY to remove, the epoxy ones are IMPOSSIBLE to remove, from what I've seen. I heated the pickup up with a blow-dryer one time to remove the cover and fix a wire on a wax one, no problem. I've never removed the cover on an epoxy-potted one.

Does the cover go back on easily by using the same technique?
