thanks Captain,
another question, I bought a super 80 , do you think it will fit on the 2681?
I am nervous, should get the guitar at any moment now...
If nothing goes wrong I think I might have done the "ebay deal of the year"
And also the super 80 flying finger pu for 79 euros is a good deal , looks good.
cheers

she arrived yesterday evening, I am very happy, nothing wrong ,she's beautifull.
I was surprised that's not that heavy.
The previous owner add a g****n PU and a "push up/down"knob ,but I got the original pieces included so I can put her back to original, I was also lucky to score a New öld" super 80 bridge, wich will fit perfectly.
some (bad) pics

Emilio:

Check your images for the following.

1. They must be 50k (50,000 bytes) or smaller to upload.
2. Make sure they are GIF or JPG format.
3. If they are JPG, make sure they are in the RGB colorspace not CMYK.

If you are using images straight from a digital camera, they are usually 200k+. You will need a bitmap editing program to process them and make them smaller. This consists of:

1. Cropping unnecessary parts of the background out.
2. Reducing to a lower dpi (72 to 100 is fine)
3. Changing the physical size of the image, like to 640x480 pixels.
4. Using compression to make JPGs smaller (there is usually some loss of detail using extreme compression settings.)

Sometimes the camera will come with software that allows you to process images. Otherwise, you need to get a program. For Windows, I recommend Fastone's Image Viewer. It's free and pretty easy to use, get it at: http://www.faststone.org

I haven't found a free solution on the MAC side, as yet. Sven mentioned: "if you are on a Mac, you can use Graphic Converter from lemkesoft.com." But I believe it's $35.00.

Emilio, mail them to me if you can not figure it out. I'll help you out if I can.....

I use irfanview myself, very friendly user interface. See www.irfanview.com

Paul:

I recommend IrfanView, also. But I find that Faststone's Image View has more flexible tools when it comes to resizing and JPG compression.

In fact, I just got done using both of the programs, at the same time. Each has strengths.

super 70 had "ibanez" graved on them and s80's "flying fingers.and .....
what about the above pictured super 80's,why are they different?

Emilio, those super 80's are not a matched set..that is they did not come from the same guitar and are not of the same year of manufacture. I believe the bottom one is the newer one of the two.
