Does anyone own an AR-100? I'm looking for a nice guitar for my friend's son who's been playing for about one year. He's kind of a metal head and owns a Marshall stack.

tnx,
mk

Michael,

I have a 105 which is basically the same setup. Its a real nice guitar, but a bit on the heavy side. The coil taps are nice for getting a single coil sound and make the guitar a bit more versatile. Keep in mind that it will have a typical "Artist" neck profile, which is a bit chunkier than a "shredder" neck.
