I've always liked the older ibanez guitars,(and some newer ones too) and i kinda thought i was alone, but i know different now! anyway, i just bought an 82 ibanez and i'm trying to figure out the model. the body is like a musician, it's dark stain finish, with 2 cream humbuckers, 2 tones knobs, 1 volume, a 3-way toggle, and a small toggle, which i think is a phase inverter, it has a maple neck/fretboard, with the "custom made ibanez electric guitar" logo on it, the headstock is shaped like a roadstar , i think the tuners have been replaced (if not the whole neck) since they don't say ibanez, and they are chrome, where the bridge is gold, i'll try to post some pics in a few, but wanted to see if anyone could maybe give me some info. thanks! The model is SB70, there are one or two threads on this elsewhere in the forum. Best I can tell they were only made in 1982, I have never seen a serial number from another year. The only thing "Custom Made" about them is the "Custom Made" printing on the headstock!
