'76 Artist 2617 & '79 AR500BK...

I'm not a big guy, 5'7" 150 lbs and use it three-four sets a gig. It is definitely as heavey as every other Artist I have. If you get the ar500, may want to put a strap button at the base of the neck to balance the guitar, it's up to you and... guitar is not so heavy that it should affect your decision to buy.
