...just buy this effing thing.

http://cgi.ebay.com/IBANEZ-ARTIST-PROFESSIONAL-1979_W0QQitemZ7345729528QQcategor yZ33043QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have, on more than one occasion, emailed this seller with the ridiculous suggestion to actually show some diligence and post some pics detailing this axe just to give it a chance in hell to sell.

I guess my question is, does anyone know why this one has not moved? Ever??

I believe this is at least its 20th appearance on the bay.

It could be a great guitar, however, the seller has many things working against him/her.

1. That hideous green used in his auctions.
2. Absurdly long description in a foreign language (my apologies if this is your native language). I just can't read it and am not going to babelfish it to figure it out.
3. Lack of pictures of the guitar. You'd think for the asking price he could give more than one angle.

I say, let it sit on eBay.

Sorry to have started a b*tch session...but I had been wondering if I was the only one annoyed by this moax (a Ralph Kramden term).

Didn't mean to stir up the sh*t (too much).

Yeah it's annoying...sorry pic.... and expects potiential customers to guess about other areas of the guitar..I've checked out his stuff before..some good guitars and parts sometimes...but at those prices I would expect him to bring it prior to payment and put it in my hand in the US. Then if I didn't like it, I could just send him on his way

No harm no foul, no blood no ambulance.

This sale/seller/guitar is annoying because... first of all it's the U.K. (not that there's anything wrong with the U.K. - just adds shipping expense to US buyers, that's what I mean) and ... it's way over-priced and for some reason folks in the UK spend more money on any given guitar out there than folks in the US are willing to pay for that same guitar. Since nobody in the UK wants this one (obviously) he's having a hard time with the US bidders because... we won't pay what this seller is accustomed to getting from his locals... plus big ship charge to USA. Drop the price and take into account horrific ship costs to the USA and... guitar sells quickly.

Does this model also come in ab/mop/ab block inlays?

If so, then why the f*ck is this guy braggin' about a dot model?

Strings:

This model only came in dots and vines, no block inlays. The Randy Scruggs model, however, did come in block inlays and vines, but no dots.

Don't get too excited about this guy's way of doing business. He thinks it's the way to sell the guitars. In the last month he's had 143 auctions, three being rated negative or neutral. It's up to each individual to figure out if they trust doing business with someone who exaggerates and does the bare minimum to accurately portray his guitars.

Thanks John...and I know what you are saying. It's just that I would take a 2622 or a early 80's 300 over this artist any day (and for a bit less it seems!?)

I guess some gentlemen prefer blonds...guess I'm not a gent ;^/

I always thought that seller always asks way too much for the guitars they're selling.

IMO o'course.

I can understand people got upset when the price of gas is high-it is a necessity. If one gets upset over a guitar being over-priced, I think it is a little bit too much. Especially to the point of introducing cussing to one's language on a public forum like this. You don't have to buy it, you know. Unless of course the guitar is something you can't live without, then who's to say that it is over-priced?
