Wasn't the MC500 an Archtop?

It is a beautiful instrument. I am so happy to have won the auction. My interest in the Musician line actually started when I was 16 (some 27 years ago) and I was in a music store and the owner was showing my friend and I the instrument, but said we couldn't touch it because it was too expensive unless we had cash to buy it right then and there. Well, to make a long story a little shorter, I had always wanted one. Now I have added a beautiful 2700 and MC550DS to my small collection. I am a "players condition" collector.
