Came across this '79 beauty while trolling one of my favorite dealer sites recently. Looks like it's been played, but still in pretty good condition. I was tempted to pull the trigger but had second thoughts.

I think she's had a pickup swap too. What do you guys think? Here she is:

Looks like an IC200 to me (I've got one as well! ;) ), and it looks like it's been used instead of being put away and cossetted. Looks to me like the neck pickup is the original Super80, and as though the control knobs are original sure-grip's. Cool.

Sweet looking rock machine! ;) I like it. :D

Looks a lot like mine as well, mine has a few battle scars but still plays and sounds great. Scratches and dings give it character, but $750 is a bit high, i paid $200 for mine with an anvil case. mopowr79

Cruzerjd,
Did yours have the original pickups in or aftermarket one's? Mine had DiMarzio's in when I bought mine, as well as the battle scars & original case. I've changed the pickups since then, but I'm keeping the NOS Super80's handy if I ever sell it (unlikely though!)
