The bindings on my 1979 Iceman PS10 have turned a rich custard yellow color except for a small section where the body meets the neck which is a darker rust color. Is there any way that I can lighten the color so that its more consistent? Some plastics become darker if left in the dark too long, will more exposure to daylight help?

Bsharp, that's called 'vintage patina'. :-)

Both my 78 IC200 and my 79 2619 have it, I wouldn't worry. It's a sign of aging (like going grey :-( ).

Thanks for your comments. Yes, "vintage patina" sounds much more appropriate than "yellowing with age". I shall use it when I start to go grey.
