Check this link, this is the guy who always says "this is my only one", "this is my last one" etc. etc. and yet, he constantly comes up with this stuff. How? Where? It is strange. Do you think Hoshino has this stuff laying around in dark corners and this Canadian fellow has an "in" over there? Who else would even have this stuff and at the quantities this guy seems to be able to lay his hands on. Plus... check out his attitude, view the terms of his auctions.... he says "I don't fool around" or something to that effect. Very pleasent fellow.

I have bought o'plenty of things from this guy.,...you nailed it right on the head Bob..he always claims "last one" what he really means is "last one right now".

But he is a good source for vintage Ibanez parts.

...what he really means is "last one right now"

That's exactly right. I've bought several of his "last one" parts also.

So.... the question remains.... where is he getting this stuff? And how does he CONSTANTLY come up with it? He had a bunch of circuit boards for mc500's and so forth a while back too. Those, he also stated "last one" but I saw about ten that he sold from time to time. I wanted one, was outbid each time. In any event, it's interesting that he has so much, so often. No sense asking him how he comes up with it because... we'd just do it ourselves and he'd lose financially, he gets a nice chunk of change evry time he sells these old Ibanez bits. Any guesses as to how he obtains them?

I think it's great that they're available at all! Just imagine without the internet how impossible tracking down such items would be!

I'd also like to know where he gets those parts. Ibanez should really have parts for all their lines available. I don't know how to contact Hoshino but perhaps they DO have parts available and this guy just knows how to get them?

The stuff I'm selling is all New Old Stock and I do only have a very limited supply of it. Believe it or not, it was a couple of 20lbs boxes when I got the original lot. I have been lucky enough to source out a VERY small lots of little bits and pieces of stuff, but what you see up now is the cream of the crop. I've got enough parts to last the summer, (one auction per week- per item) on most items, but the items marked as "one only" or "very few" are truely that. My source is dry, there are no more NOS parts left in Canada or the US. I took my time selling off these gems, but this is the end of the lot. And I only had 10 Mc500 cards in all. I sold 8 in the first year then found two at the bottom of the box.

Mystery sol-ved! Too bad you're out of the mc500 cards. I tried to win each one, got zapped, never got one. Oh well. How many of those Artist truss rod covers (black) do you have? Need one for my ar1200av.

I have no more Artist covers....

I have one 3 hole and one two hole musician truss rod cover. That's it...

I just bought a whole recording studio's worth of gear. the studio was moth balled for 10 years, the owner had a stroke...lot's of really cool stuff........ most of it bought in the early 70's... 16track 1 inch recorders and all that fun stuff. I even found a AKG BX20 mint new in the box...

So I will be selling off the gear in the next few months. The NOS Ibanez stuff might take a back seat. Unless someone wants to buy the rest of what's left in the box off of me???

Perhaps someone who knows the guys at Ibanez could persuade them to reissue vintage parts....:-) I wonder if the demand is there? I'm in the market for all kinds of Artist replacement parts, particularly bridges.
