Hello.

Has anyone of you heard (or, noticed) that "the thickness of fingerboard differs before/after the introduction
of 1983 models"?

According to a book, the former models have 4mm thick
fingerboards whereas later versions have 5.5mm ones.

Is this true? I checked my AR500AV(1982) and AR550CS(1983), but found no difference....
