I just received my AS-80 and it's a nice player. The problem is that it has six cracks, each is just underneath a fret. The seller has agreed to take it back, however, has anyone seen anything like this? It was made in 2000, therefore, it relatively new and shouldn't have this problems. Is it a problem with AS-80's or Korean-made axes? What would cause this? Could it have happened it shipping as it was very cold over the weekend?

I haven't personally seen this on a guitar this new. But I have seen necks shrink over time, causing the fret ends to protrude. I guess that could cause damage to the binding???
