I may have seen some references to Super 70's having that design, however, I don't think that was the case. As far as I know, all Weirs came with Super 80's. They have the logo on the pickup cover. It's hard to see in the pictures but if you look carefully, you can see them. My serial number is G766197. I am going to take some pictures and send them to you. I don't think I've ever seen a 2681 w/ Super 70's. Bought it in 1976. Stars Guitars in San Francisco did the work. When did they switch to Super 80's?   Frank Username: Frank Registered: 01-2006 Posted on Thursday, January 26, 2006 - 9:04 am:    I honestly don't know who makes the EQ, I just asked the tech to give me a 3 band EQ and he put it on. My best guess is that this was done in the late 70's. I will see if I have any documentation of the job but I doubt it. The 3 black knobs control the EQ, one each for high, mid, and treble. I hope this answers your questions.
