Bob, it didn't reach reserve. Chicago Music Exchange has had that on GBase for a while. I think they want 3K for it.

Jeff, yes... I see that now. Oh well. I thought $2100 wasn't out-of-line for that axe. Someone's had one on Ebay recently for $2400.

Thats a fine example. It makes me wish I would have grabbed one when they were cheaper.

Freak:

Me too! Several years ago, I had chance at a pristine '78 or '79, for around $1200.00. But I didn't go for it.

Actually, I never thought I would own a 12 string or a double-neck...but now I have one of each!

John thats on my list now. Some sort of 12 string. I still don't know if its gonna be electric or acoustic yet but I've got the 12 string GAS and the tax return putting a match to it.

#1... Bob... DON'T DO IT!!! You'll hate yourself forever! If you need money... sell the Scruggs, the Viets or something else. I just can't imagine you, without the 1200 & the 5k, ever being happy.

#2... Freak... I don't think that one or the other will cure your GAS, long term. That's what I once thought... so I picked up a 671-12 a few months ago. Now, I'm still droolong over every AR-112 I see.
Two different animals.

OOPS! ...that should be "drooling".

"droolong" is when you've made a lifestyle of it.
