And the seller seemed like a nice and straight-up guy. Just make sure it has full insurance, which I'm sure you will. Perhaps you can fire "Yogi" an email to get his take on the matter as he has some experience with this scenario from Italy to his country and chose to have a customs agent pick it up(?). Although, I think this will work out fine between you and the seller. The axe has been very well cared (which says a lot about the owner) for from what I've seen and is gorgeous!! Take a close look the way it was shipped!!!! When I opened the case I felt nausea. It was the dirtiest guitar I've seen. I stripped it down to do a fine tooth comb detailing. It wasn't as mint as the pictures indicated. It has some dings, chips to the bare wood on the edges. The tuners are shot. Considerable fret wear as well. I set it up and I'm still getting a buzz on the G string at the 12th fret and 14th fret. Cleaned the electronics and there all fine now. After putting this effort into this and finally plugging in, I've been ripping it up on this beast and I believe it is an awesome guitar. The sound is incredible. The EQ comes in handy on clean tones with both pickups. It can almost give it an Acoustic/electric quality. I just have to iron out the fret issue on the G string. It's totally playable but bugs me. Here are some picts as promised. My favorite I call The Three Little Artists. Sounds like a good kid book. It is dead mint. Frets still aren't broken in. The AR105 is an 82 as well. That was my best Christmas present ever. I was 14. I played the •••• out of it till around 88. Then just cased it. I'm done buying Artists now unless I happen on an AR5000 at a yard sale for $250. Looks like you did a nice job of cleaning it up if it was as dirty as you said. That is one nice guitar.
