Refinished Guitars

If you found a refinished Bob Weir or a 2619 how much would you pay? Errr - to answer your question - I think that providing you have it restored to *original* finish and have it done by a *highly* repected luthier, then it should not detract from its value. Thats when a guitar is ruined. If a guitar is original, I prefer to keep it that way, scratches and all. Here's one example, And after a refin, did he get this wrong or what? not to mention this one.
