According to Hasenobu:

It's not an AR70 but a 2617AV. This very guitar has been on the auction for about 2 weeks, again and again, with no bidders so far. It has purfling. The starting price is about US $650, and BIN is about US $785 plus shipping & customs.

Hello.
Let me add some points.
The title for this auction says "IBANEZ Artist early model of AR (from) 1970's."
We don't see this model very often in Yahoo Japan Auction, but once in a while, we do.
The price is a bit too high, in my opinion.
The auction has 21 hours left now, but I guess there will be no bidders this time, and the seller will continue to put up this one.

Wouldn't that BS finnish make it a little more rare/desirable. I have not seen many of these (if ever) on eBay.

IMNSHO, the NT just doesn't make it on this model - and there seems to be millions of them. But this Brown Sunburst WHOOOOAA!...seem like this axe was made just for that stain!!

If it were here in the US, I'd want it...and I ain't even in the market for an axe. Gorgeous.

Looks worth eight bills to me!

You know, if there were a way to translate any of that over to English I would make a bid on it - hell I would buy it!

Can anyone help me out, here?

My description above was based on the translation given to me by Hasenobu. Besides the language issue, the biggest issue is agreeing upon shipping. I constantly see shipping costs from Japan around $125-$150, however, a buyer MUST confirm this in advance.

Hello.

I noticed the auction ended without any bidding this time, but the automatic repeating seems to have stopped after several repetition.
