One guitar that I'm interested in is the 2617, but I'm not a huge fan of the natural top finish (it's nice - very nice - just not my style), I LOVE the "Antique Violin" finish, and the Brown Sunburst is pretty nice, too.

I know that they aren't very common, but just how rare is a 2617 in one of those (AV or BS) finishes? Do these come up at all, or is it just a pipe dream hoping to find one?

Honestly, I think the 2617 looks amazing in either the AV or BS finishes!

I'm in Southern California (Riverside County - Southeast of L.A. and North of San Diego).

At this point I'll take the first good 2619 or 2617 in the AV finish (or a 2617 in the brownburst finish) that I can find. I've been dying to get one for so long and now that I've finally got enough extra cash to make it happen - the waiting is killing me!

Like I said, I'll take the first good 2619 or 2617 in AV or BS finish that I can find.

Sooner is better than later, but it will take as long as it takes. I already picked up that AR305, and I love that guitar, but a 70's artist is what I've been looking for. (I've got enough money, barely, for one 70's model and that's it - so I've got to make it count.)
