2680, how is the sound?

I own a 79 strat since new and recently buyed a new korean ar300 to expand my sound possibilities. The ar300 does the work marvelous. Last week i bought a 77 2680 Bob Weir but haven´t got it delievered yet. Have read about it and what i read suggested that it will complete my sound pallet, am i right or? Is there anyone who have any opinion in this matter? grateful (dead) to any opinion!
