Hi Guys, I'm a newbie- this is a fantastic forum! I just stumbled onto (not literally, thank goodness)my first vintage Ibanez at a local pawn shop here on Vancouver Island. Its an '81 Artist 100, beautiful natural finish flame maple to, all original. I can't believe it was only $200!!!
Anyways, I saw this artist on Ebay and figured it'd be worth linking

Sideshowsteve:

Good to have you with us. Let's see some photos of your AR100.

That ebay Artist is an '83 AR305. Looks very nice. Here's the ICW-friendly version of the URL for that auction. Please use it to place bids, if possible.

Steve:

Congrats on finding 2, very nice AR305s. If it's in very good condition, $800.00 is a good price for one of these.

Regarding the AR305 in L.A., how come it has an output on the body top...?
If it's a kind of modification, what's its point, I wonder?

Good eyes! Good question, too.

Anybody in the 213 area code want to check into that?

It's not a stock position for that jack I know that much. The eBay one has some pretty serious dings too.

And what does "avaerage playwear for a guitar of this age" mean. Worn down?;O)

The Artist on L.A. Craigslist has been altered - the jack has been moved (for what reason God only knows).

I asked the seller about that one. It's still an OK deal, but that kind of alteration is something I wouldn't be real happy with.

I wonder if it could be changed back without much of the previous alteration being noticeable...

Hi Johns
I'll post a pic in the next few days. My camera just broke, so I'm getting a new one this weekend.
