FS/FT: Ibanez RG550 Guitar

Author Message   William J. Jones Posted on Friday, October 08, 2004 - 10:57 am:    Early 90s Ibanez RG550DX 6-string Electric Guitar. This is a great guitar for all styles of music-- just read the reviews on Harmony Central. It has a 24 fret maple board on the Wizard neck-- fast playing and the frets are in great shape. It has the H-S-H pickup combination, Neck and middle are stock Ibanez pickups, but the bridge holds A Seymour Duncan Full Shred (similar to the Duncan JB pickup). The bridge is the Ibanez Floyd Rose model that stays in tune better than any guitar Ive played. I feel the need to warn you now that the finish is sort of a pink metallic with a black pickguard and black hardware. It is a very cool color, but maybe not for everyone. The guitar is is overall great shape with almost no wear-- only a little fading on the neck plate. It comes with the OHSC as well. If you want a great all around guitar--- this is it.
