Hi folks,

I'm looking for a Concord-era maple-body dreadnaught, preferably a 670, 671, 672, or 673, or maybe a 699.

I want a player. All original, some dings allowed. eBay is proving to be an unfriendly environment for a serious shopper as snipers seem to enjoy poaching these. I'd rather do this direct.

I don't know what eBay uses for that kind of protection, fingers... What does it mean to spam an auction?

Personally, I think the sellers are getting screwed on eBay by so-called "snipers" who wait until the last second to bid. No market gets established in that event (in my opinion), and thus you really don't know what the right price for the item is. I think this is particularly bad for collectibles, like the items we are interested in.

Anyway, if you guys do spot anything in a store, eBay, or elsewhere that looks like a nice maple, Concord 6-string, lemme know.

Hey, just used BIN on a nice flamed-maple M-series.. :-) Price seemed reasonable, so I went for it. Here's a case where a seller set the price, so that's OK.
