I have what I believe is a 2001 AS80. Serial #01019855.
Really terrific tone. Somebody else might be able to confirm which pickups this year had but it kills either of the 335's I had earlier this year.
Condition: cosmetically it is prettier than many I've seen with a very flamey back and neck. There is one small chip in the clearcoat on the lower horn. Other than that it has the typical polishing swirls you would expect from a guitar that is a few years old. No fretwear. Electronics all good. Straplocks included. Skb Freedom hardshell case.
Playability: plays great with a medium action.
In the spirit of full disclosure I would say it might have a couple high frets or need a pro setup as it is a little buzzy in the middle of the neck. That is the only reason I am selling.
A medical condition dictates that I set up my guitars with a rediculously low action. This guitar will not accomodate that with my meager setup skills.
Please ask all questions up front as I
will need to replace it immediatly and will not be able to offer a refund.
