I lost both my Artist and Studio many years ago and would like either one
If you are interested in trading an Artist or Studio for a Gibson Les Paul Studio please let me know

This Les Paul Studio looks like a FADED edition, not a high gloss finish.
I was already wondering why you would sell an LP Studio, because the glossy ones are €750-800 second hand. The faded ones are cheaper. This is a new one at a Dutch discounter.

Looks like a screamer. Without a serial number for confirmation, I'd say it was an early 80s, AR50. It's cool that Ibanez's low-end Artist is something you'd trade a "real" Gibby LP for?  |

Gibson serial numbers from July 2005 on read like this:
YDDDYBRRR
So it was made on day 50 (19th of February) of 2007.
Batch 0 (ZERO)
Ranking number 541.
So this guitar was built only 6 months ago.

I kinda like that mahogany. I'm still looking for a cheaper double cut model to put my P100's (Stacked P90's) in. Actually I'm looking for good wood with bad pickups, because I don't plan to spend much on it.
It's remarkable how good the modern P90 and stacked P90 replicas are these days.
For example the Vintage guitars by Hornby Skewes have such good pickups, that you don't have to replace them. Their TV lemon LP guitar beat a Gibson faded DC in a shoot-out. I just couldn't believe my ears. So that's no option really: TOO GOOD.
No, I want one with really lousy pickups and do a resurrection act with it.
The only point is: more and more people think that if their guitar was possibly built in the same factory as the Ibanez guitars, that it is worth gold, no matter in what condition it is.
