Yes Jazzz and along w/ my Tele I don't seem to play anything else. The little 50 is sweet but deserves to be played more than she has been. The 2454 is a real jazz guitar IMO. In fact I'd like another for a back-up. Anyone up for a trade? Jazzz what do you think of yours?

Boo, I have the same mint guitar, OHSC.
IMO the price was NOT $150.- too high.
We saw even an exceptional beauty that went for $1599.- (the one with the engravings in the back of the headstock, which spoilt it).
Mint and with OHSC EUR 850.- or $850.- is not too much. I have seen a cherry burst with non-original knobs in consignment for hfl. 1595.- in 2001. And it sold!

Sometimes it's not a matter of price, but just of the right moment. October for instance is my car inspection and car insurance month. Wrong month for me to buy.

You're so right Ginger. Thanks. Maybe if there is no interest I'll E-bay at a later date.

YO BOO, well i have used my 2454 on one gig and it was pretty good considering i didnt have the strings or set up as to my liking, i had though of selling it, but then what would i get ?? i really dont miss the big jazz box, i believe the 2454 is very versatile for a hollow body, mine has alot of dings and nics etc, but its all original and stock, those Super 70 pups are killer IMO, i havnt seen many 2454 models out there, hows yours ?? jazzz

Mine is most likely more thrashed than yours. I mean hacked. The body binding is almost saw toothed. Major fret wear. I would have never thought of buying if it wasn't such a deal and such a player. Agree w/ your super 70's opinion. To me the best sounding Ibnz pup. I like the neck 58 pup alot on the am50 but the bridge is rather bland.

What struck me is that when you play a 2454 you dont miss that big jazz box sound, at least i dont, but you gain incredible comfort and accessability to high registers up the fret board if you want it, thats why im saying very versatile for a jazz hollowbody, jazzz
