Ebay Item #120189284335

Gorgeous top. I added new gold pickup covers over the existing Super 70s and fashioned a pick guard for it:

ICW members may remember that I bought this earlier this year on eBay and got a pretty good deal ($265 plus shipping). I'm starting the auction at $300, mostly to recoup my original cost plus the costs of adding the pickup covers and pick guard. The pick guard is handmade by yours truly.

Wow Chuck, that's a BEAUTY!

I just put her on my watch list. Wish I could B-I-N. Hey I'll give you a drill press, a Stew Mac Fret Saw, a set of nut / fret files, 3 Direc-TV receivers & a used Proctor -Silex coffe pot for it, (sigh, "Yeah I know....Cash is King"), LOL.

Good luck on the auction. Somebody will want this one!

Juha, I am amassing cash for my next acquisition. Someone else has another cherry burst PF200 up also, but the top is not as nice as mine.

Hey Chuck,

Just curious, because I've never owned a Performer: What's the construction on these? Is it the hollow body w/ glue blocks, solid "mystery" wood w/ a thin veneer top, magogany w/ a thick maple top, or what?

Dang, that fiddle's pretty!

I should pay closer attention when I have the things apart, but if I remember correctly, it is the hollow with glued blocks kind, not a lot of open space inside. (I have a Greco LP that is cavernous in contrast.)
