Wow!! What an amazing sight to see. I don't see how this page can do me any good as I cannot speak Japanese and even if I did I wouldn't know who to cantact and then even if I did speak japanese and find a way to communicate with someone I would still have to convince them to actually sell the instrument and then finnaly we would have to work out some sort of payment method as (I'm sure they cannot accept a credit card) and then a shipping procedure. Sounds way to complicated to actually work.

I have found an AR3000VV for sale in the united states but the price is $2,100. The ones I have seen for sale on the japanese sites are going for $1,468.09. I have seen the pics and the guitar is brand new and case stored, do you guys think that this is a reasonable price? The seller seems pretty firm.

Denz:

Right now, you're on the downside of the the supply and demand equation.

Do you really want it and have $2,100.00? If so and you can't get one anyplace else for less, then it's reasonable.

If it were me, I'd start looking seriously into shopping in Japan and having it shipped.

I do have the money and I really would like an AR3000VV, the saying "Don't settle for the one you can live with, wait for the one you can't live without" comes to mind.

I'd rather not import because I would have to get a new credit card and hassle with all that fun stuff, and then worry about the actual importing and duty, tax e.t.c. I think I will offer the US seller $2,000 shipped FedEx air, which in my opinion is a very strong offer for an AR3000VV.
