Anybody interested on a 1988 AF200 in excellent shape?

AF200

This has two dings and otherwise is very clean. Comes with the original hardshell case, which is also in excellent shape (except it's not an Ibanez). Also comes with the original receipt!

More pictures at: http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/Guitars/MyAF200/

Email me with serious offers. john@ibanezcollectors.com

If I don't get anything serious, it's going to ebay.

Damn, she's gorgeous!!

Wish I could take it off your hands, bro. Bad timing and a full stable at the moment.

Thanks Tim.

Actually, since these pictures were taken, I have thoroughly cleaned and polished this baby up. That was a mistake, because I fell in love with it again and have kept it for several more months than intented. Now that I've got my nerve up to sell it again, I don't dare pick it up. :-)

Except for the two dings shown in the pictures, there is nothing wrong...at all! I'm selling because I need the money for other guitar purchases.

John, Is there an issue with the binding at the 15th fret ?

Dave:

Good eyes. These are old pictures. There used to be some magic marker on binding that the previous owner (supposedly blind) used to help find the odd numbered frets. I removed them and the guitar is pristine once again. I'm not sure if I have any recent images of the cleaned binding, but I'll look and post them.

How could magic marker help a blind man?

Guys:

I took it to mean that he was legally blind. Regardless, he didn't play the guitar that much. There's almost no wear.

Dave:

No offense, taken. Just wanted to let everyone know that it wasn't me that yielded the marker. :-) Actually, there were two layers of marker, green and black. Apparently, whatever the reason for it, was good enough that he repeated the process when the first color wore off.

Hmmm...selling your AF200 eh?

So what new little gem has your eye, my friend?

By the way, that is one great Ebay ad. I'm almost tempted to bid. Good luck, Johns.

TIm:

Thanks for the comps on the ad. This is the first time I've sold anything on ebay, so I tried to cover all my bases. But I'm sure I missed something. Any suggestions for improvements would be appreciated.

Selling the AF200 is long overdue. I've acquired a few guitars and not honored my deal with the wife to sell something off. I've got the full jazzbox sound covered with a GB12 and GB10. And this is in fantastic shape, except for the two dings. So, it was the most natural candidate to find a new home.

OK, the AF200 sold on ebay to a very happy Canadian gentlemen. Final bid was $1125.00. More than I thought I would get.
