HI, I have been collecting guitars for a while now, and my collection has kinda got out of hand, I and going to start listing my guitars on ebay, and sell down to about 20 from 42, i have a few old ibanez's, but i'm looking for more to keep, i'm really interested in getting some with custom inlays , artist, custom agents, etc.. i have a decent selection of fenders, gibsons, and other makes, if anyone is interested in trading, let me know because i'm going to start listing some of my axes on ebay this weekend..

Hey Parts, It seems to me that you are looking to BUY some vintage Ibanez axes, correct?

I have a 9.9/10 AR 2622 (and I mean beautiful) that I MAY ultimately sell. Split block inlays.
Never used.
If you are interested in that model, let me know and I'll post some pics

That conversion rate from buying money to selling money always seems to put me in the red :-)

Dave,
it's not easy, and i told myself i wouldn't sell any more of my guitars again from past regrets, but i didn't think i would end up with more than 40 of them either, so i'm trying to keep just the older/unique stuff. i actually have 2 dedicated rooms in my house for them and still don't have enough room for them all LOL!

Mark, 40 Guitars ? Take it from me-you are in the very early stages of this disease ! It will not be long before your looking for off-site storage for your collection ! Stick to the stuff you really LOVE (ie the older/unique) that way you have at least a fighting chance of keeping the stable within your space constraints....

here's some pics of the charvel, this thing is in awesome shape, no dents, chips, just alittle buckle rash on the back, and on the back of the neck is discolored from lots of playing (doesn't affect playing though) super low action, no buzzing, and doesn't fret out.

If you're curious Mark, theoretically the first four numbers of the serial number on your Taylor 814ce should be the year (i.e. my Taylor's s# is 2004xxxxxxx). I know that has been their system since at least 2001 (that's the oldest Taylor I've come across). Nice guitar by the way.

Thanks Eadams, I think it's a 2001, actually it's in the shop now i'm getiing it set up before i sell it, so i don't have it here to look at, and yeah It's a great guitar, but i already have another high end acoustic, a Martin that my father left me when he passed, so i figure i can part with the taylor..
thanks for the info!
