Ibanez Professional Model 2617, 1977, natural finish, gold knobs, gold hardware has a few minor nicks on bottom of body otherwise great condition. The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Electric guitars refers to the Artist series as Ibanez’ most popular and respected model, associated with guitarists John Scofield and Seven Miller. The 1977 2617 would later evolve into the Professional model with tree-of-life fingerboard inlay. This one does not have the tree of life inlay work.
