Released 1996 in Japan, Europe and Australia... These were created from surplus stock found at Hoshino.... Old stock Included... Super 80's pickups (note that only the artist has 2 bass side screws on the pickup.) Cloud tailpieces and truss rod covers... The tuners and bridges are all new stock (notice the tuner are standart Gotoh types with pearloid buttons) ----- (Captain Ibanez): SUBJECT: CLASSIC 80'S RE-ISSUES John, the 80's Ledgend Re-issues are indeed a true and living product. There were 4 models models made to the old specs built between 1996 and discontinued in Dec 1998, they are as follows: 2681NT Bob Weir model MC300DS Musician series.. with the 2 x Tri-sound switches.
