For sale is a very rare George Benson GB30 in transparent red. I recently found this guitar in a gigbag in a closet, where it had rested there for 16 years! The guitar was hardly ever played, and is practically new old stock. Mint, mint, mint condition! There are some extremely light rubs in the paint, but you can't even see them unless you hold it under a flourescent light bulb and look! These guitars are rare, especially in this condition. Gigbag is included. This guitar sounds and plays great, like new.

Will ship WORLDWIDE. I am asking $1800 + shipping, but I am very willing to reason.

Grinch,
Well I read your story on getting this guitar, I must say that Providence has laid a great instrument at your feet, it seems a shame you are selling it. I am including a link to some Harmony Central Reviews of the GB30 for you to review... In there you get an idea of what people paid for theirs (and when).

Perhaps your price is a little high, it seems so to me. I thought these usually went for around $900.00 to $1100.00. The only time I've seen GB's go for $1900.00 is when a natural finish GB10 from the late 70s or very early 80s was for sale. Giving you this advice as a "forum brother" not meaning to be insulting...

You'd be real smart to keep that guitar man, it'd be a real pal over the years. I own a 1981 GB10 and of all the electrics I have the GB10 is the most flexible of the guitars I own tonally. And I have some very nice stuff in my arsenal.

Here's the ICW-friendly version of the ebay URL. Please use it to place bids, if possible.

We'll keep our fingers crossed Grinch that you do well with the auction. What kind of Vox (out of curiousity - I've own an old tube powered Vox Berkeley that I really liked).

Vox AC-15. I played one at Guitar Center and I really, really liked it. Moreseo than the AC-30!
