Imagestation Album:

http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2104898379

Guitar is in excellent shape with a few dings and light pickwear. Op amp has been replaced and a socket installed for future service. OHSC is for sale as well. Frets have been leveled and crowned, plays like a dream. Offers to anigel1@hotmail.com.

Good luck.

I know... It's a great guitar, but my amplifier accentuates the treble it produces and they are not balanced to my ideal. My other Ibanez is the same way. They sound great through other amps, but not the Zinky Mofo. Thus, I must sell it.

So I played it through a Bogner Shiva today at work. OMG! The Zinky and Ibanez are incompatible.

EXACTLY!

Figure out which you're more bonded with & let the other go.

I know Zinky's rep & all, but which piece(s) do you more closely interface with? Amps are just amps.

Next amp... take your favorite guitar(s) along for the test drive!

BTW... if you can find an old Music Man amp... you may not be as "fashionable" as a Zinky or a Bogner, but the sound will make you cream your jeans.

Is a grand too much to ask for an instrument in this kind of condition?

Nigel...From a collectors point of view, given that the NT finish is somewhat rare on the EQ'd guitars (MC400/500;2700), the condition of the guitar is very good, and the "Vault" case..a grand is not outrageous-IMHO of course, perhaps on the high end of the range, but to outrageous-if two people get interested, it could go over a grand...

mc400's come around on ebay, i'd estimate at least 6 or 7 each year. just an estimate, keep your eyes open and save it in your ebay"favorite searches", you will get an e-mail from ebay each time one is listed. y not go for the mc500 then with the arched top?

I have an MC400 (NT) and while I'd also like to have an MC500 and MC550, I wouldn't trade my MC400 for one. I freakin' LOVE that guitar.
