Author Message   Gretsch8217 Username: Gretsch8217 Registered: 10-2004 Posted on Friday, September 01, 2006 - 11:19 pm:    1982 Ibanez Artist AR30, solid body guitar with a set neck in excellent condition with the original Ibanez hard shell case. It's a fairly rare guitar from the golden age of Ibanez. This is truly a unique and awesome guitar, with incredible resonance and sustain. The only thing I've done to this one is replace the original Velve-Tuners with new Gotohs. No new holes were drilled and the original tuners are included in the sale. Three piece maple set neck (unbound) with ash body wings (also unbound). Finish is Ibanez's Antique Violin with the normal amount of minor bumps and bruises for a 24 year old guitar. Electronics are two uncovered, cream Super 70 or Super 58 humbuckers, with both pickups measuring ~7.5K on my DMM. Controls are two volume and one tone which have the cool, gold knobs with the rubber grips. Two factory mini switches allow for coil cutting for lots of cool tones. This is definitely one guitar I'm going to regret selling, but it's time to "thin the herd" as they say. Please email any inquiries to gretsch8217 at comcast dot net.
