Heh all...I have a very decent Original Ibanez vintage Roadhouse case (I think its a for the roadhouse bass...) Currently housing a roadhouse 6 string, but would rather have a traditional tan roadhouse case. Will consider other offers...Thx.

Power outage cut this out in the middle of posting the pics....

Inside case is like new
Outside is very good, except one strip on back of case missing tolex.
All latches and hinges are perfect.

Just for clarification, it's Roadstar not Roadhouse.

The grey cases are smaller than the tan/brown ones. '85 and earlier models do not fit the grey case. '86 and later are loose in the brown case.

Man I hate when I do that!! Roadstar...didn't even catch that...thx.

Actually , this held an 83 RS315 and also had my 83 RS1000 in it too for a while...so this one does fit earlier RS models

You do know that's a bass case, yes?

I missed the reference to "bass" in the first post, sorry.

Yes, your early 6-string Roadstars (RS) will fit in that case, but an early Roadstar bass (RB) will not.

The same info regarding the Tan '83-85 vs the Grey '86 & later cases applies to both the basses and the 6-strings. The body size and cases changed for both in 1986.

Patrick Swazey...thats a good one

Thx for the info Mr RS. I am very anal about correct cases for guitars...do you have info on other Vintage Ibanez models and proper cases for make and year? (or point me in right direction)... I've often thought what a good idea it would be to have a resource showing what Vintage Ibby cases go with what guitar...helps in hunting them down...I've figured a bit of it out, but solid info would be better. Mainly interested in:

LP's- 70's (Aluminum trim - blue interior, then there is the yellow interior ones...which belongs to which?)

Artist line- 77'-83' (seen quite a few different cases here)

Performer's-

Concert's -( my first electric --came with burgandy triangle green lined case, but have seen others)

Musician's- (Burgandy triangle case green lined, but have seen others)

Roadstar II's- 83'-85'aka RoadHouse's starring P.S. (tan case, and now learned later models --gray case)

There was no case for the Patrick Swazey signature model, because...
he just put her against the wall!
