Aaron, as I posted in the other thread, I'm certainly interested in the AM205. Where are you in Aus? I'm in WA.

Really nice collection, Aaron.

I recognized the '77 2355m (same as my '76).

I think the wood of the AM205 should be described as Burled Mahogany, as far as I know the specs. This means that it sounds warmer than the maple AM50.

I read somewhere about a AS200 that had the jack input on the side. Was that yours? And if so, how did this happen? How does it look now, on the front and on the side?

What are you going to keep as playing instrument(s)? The Howard Roberts Fusion?

Aaron, do you want me to contact you off line regarding the AM205? I hope the rest of the gentlemen at ICW give me first refusal on this baby!

So can I have second right of refusal?? Aaron, I sent you a couple of e-mails also. Bluesmeister (Hi Mr F. ) is obviously ahead of me (and others may be also?) on the AM205 but you have so much great stuff to choose from that I am still keen to have a chat. Sometimes I wish this GAS thing would just go away!

Thanks,
James

A big thanks to everyone interested in the guitars. If I didn't get back to you many apologies as I've been swamped with 100's of emails.
The guitars have all been sold to an avid collector of Ibanez guitars who already owns 72 guitars so they've gone to a great home!

Thanks Again!!!!!

Aaron:

You sold the whole lot to ONE collector? What a deal! Is he an Aussie, too?

Well, I'm happy for you and the "collector". How did you get your hands on so many "mint" guitars?

Hi John,

All the guitars except the Johnny Smith and GB10 I've had since new....some nearing 30 years young.
The collector is an Australian living in Japan permanently who wishes to remain anonymous. I find it a real irony that the guitars are going back to their birthplace!!!!

I've really settled on three electric guitars that I love and suit my purposes perfectly. A Blonde Gibson Custom HR Fusion
82 Ar5000 Ibanez and a Fender strat with noiseless pu's.

As I'm sure many of you know guitars take up a lot of space and looking after. I think they're about to go to a great home.

Thanks for your help.
