I agree with Fingers... the cream realy sets off that CW finish & makes that pretty binding stand out more. If Ibanez put black rings on it, they screwed it up. YOU fixed it.

I really don't think that "factory original" is all that big a deal on this one.

Hey Bros! I think you convinced me. When I ordered this guitar way back when, I also ordered these creme colored pup rings because I thought it looked sooo much better like Jchester said but over the years I guess I had a change of heart. Thanx for swaying me back to my senses. I still would like a pair just in case... Oh, I didn't tell you'all about my ST55. All factory and I think I like playing it better than the CN. Thanx again. Hey Jeff, do you prefer black or creme pup rings. I didn't know what you all were talking about(YODA). My old lady told me to look behind the axe. DUH!

Looks to be in nice condition Mig. I was never a ST fan back in the 70's but have changed my mind of late.

Mig, I think the cream surrounds look pretty nice. I wouldn't change a thing. That's a very nice 250 you have. They're very underratted guitars; although not on this site.

Yeah, I didn't catch the Yoda reference either. Quite frankly, when I see a guitar with a vine, a naked girl could be holding it and I wouldn't notice her...

Plenty of those old style mounting rings(Black or Cream) at this Amsterdam Music Shop.
Check my posting in the miscellaneous section.
