Well.. I did say I would thin down my collection this year and so it has come to this. The serial number is 02059008 which I think makes it a Cort-made AS120. The pickups are wax potted, looking at threads here suggesting they are Super 58s. It's vintage sunburst, original tuners, pretyt normal looking tailpiece and bridge (bridge has a retainer wire). Physically it is in absolutely fantastic condition. I have gigged it and treated her with care as you should! There are a few lacquer marks on thr back, no dings on the headstock, very few marks indeed anywhere really. I know some people hype up the condition of their guitars but this really is very fine indeed.

Issues: The pickups have been wired so the bridge pickup volume and tone pots are on the upper level and the neck pickup pots are the lower level. The bridge pickup sometimes cuts out a bit. This is cured by pressing down on the bridge volume pot. I could undo everything and do a spot of repairwork.. but I admit to being far too lazy right now as I'm in the process of finishing up some other guitar work and I need both money and the space back in my house! I imagine a repair job would be pretty cheap.

I'll put pictures up ASAP. I am in the UK and the guitar comes with a good quality case. Price is starting at 600 Euros. Haggling is welcome and expected :D

Yes, that makes it a May 2002 Cort manufactured guitar, as you probably read, one of my favourites and in my favourite colour (I have a 1997). Real good value for money. But if you need the money, being lazy doesn't really help of course.
The cost of a repair are not that high, if you do it yourself. All you need is a (logarithmic) NOBLE 500K potentiometer (about 6 euros), dental floss or an old string, solder iron + solder, and a multimeter.

But if haggling is welcome and expected... that's what you will get...

BTW: those black dots in the reflections from your lamp won't really help you, I'm afraid. They look like cigarette burns. But of course cigarette burns don't move from one spot to the other.

I hope you find a good home for her.

I'm not looking for lots of money. Right now I'm recovering from a serious brain infection so just a bit of money would be nice. I have such a nice handle on the world now! I could rewire it myself but I am lazy as I'm setting up a new neck for a 335. Much fun!

Incidentally, they aren't ciggie burns. I wlike to think I'm one of the honest online sellers who does list every little knock n' nick. Anyhow, why waste a smoke on a guitar when it could be in my mouth?
