I've seen auctions from down under that I wanted to bid on but the shipping costs and issue of sending back if problem arose kept me from doing so.

I can sympathise with you. Early this year I was quoted $240us to import an Artist from the East Coast U.S. to Bris. Adds way too much to the purchase cost.

$240 us...thats insane, its like where stuck on a shiprecked island or something :-) and then with exchange rates, can i swear on here???

i guess its not just the cost, those shipping guys couldnt give 2 shits about what there throwing around onto the plane...oh i swore :-)

maniac, who are the "big pond" friends??? ive asked the cap about these 90's artist re-issues and he didnt seem to know much bout em....

I have "imported" an old U.S. Rickenbacker from Japan a couple of years back. The seller sent it through EMS (Japanese International Express Mail Services) and it took less than three days for it to get from Tokyo to my door step. It cost me US$90 which included insurance, tracking, and custom clearing. Why can't our UPS or USPS do something similar?

Hello everyone,

Still have alot to sell but no RG's or that type.
Mostly Artists,some PF300's,a PF400, some semi-hollows as well as Gibson L6S's. Also selling my Yamaha SG's and SBG's.

Please be as specific as possible as to what you are looking for.

Forgive me for any delays as I'm dealing with the inevitable loss of a family member at the moment which could happen any day now so I hope you can understand what takes priority.

Take a look at the topic "Philly Guitar Show 2006" under the Miscellaneous branch. I posted a picture of a PF300NT that was at the show. I was taking with the owner for a while and got the impression he would be willing to accept reasonable offers for the guitar. Shoot me an email if you're interested.
