my name is lindsey. bought this guitar around 7 yrs ago at a village fete in the east coast of scotland.although i love guitars i am not knowledgable and despite playing since i was 7 have never advanced since i was about 15--im now 35! can you help me with some backgound or tell me for sure that my guitar is fake.rosewood in colour. pearl inset on head of what i can only descibe as an arial view of a four legged animal!! pearl like recangles on frets(well every 2nd fret).i dont know the technical name, but like the strumboard(?)is beautifully floral with a humming bird eating from one of the flowers-if this detail is as common as muck im sorry. on the label inside the guitar theres gold and black print.top left hand corner says-constructur de guitarras-then ibanez-then desde L908 0r 1908-then modelo num,620-then bottom right says NAGOYA JAPON.white/cream rimming down neck and body. id like to know how old it is and if its worth the £20 i payed for it.
with thanks,
lindsey x

Sounds like what you have there is an Ibanez 620, which was a mid-70s copy of the Gibson "Hummingbird'. Both the originals & the copies were very nice guitars.

...of course some pictures of it would help to confirm what I'm guessing from your description.
