Concord series were more expensive than Vintage series. And Artist series were mostly more expensive than Concords, with a few exceptions. Artists were original designs, Concords were good replicas. I think this was a 200 dollar guitar, although I couldn't find one lower than 637 and 638 so quick. I found the 628 in the 1976 catalogue: http://www.break-even.org/ibzscans/1976KALA2/a-vin t-6.jpg The original list price was even lower than I thought: $139.- Generally spoken "selected spruce" is NOT solid. I think €500.- for this model is way too much. Ginger
